Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using the photo viewing and sharing service "snappi" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Customers who use the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.

2. Service Description

The Service is a platform where Users can view and share photos. It is currently available free of charge. We may add user registration features or paid features in the future, and will notify you in advance.

3. Terms of Use

Please use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. To ensure stable operation of the Service, please refrain from placing excessive load on the system.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Illegal activities or activities that infringe on the rights of third parties
  • Activities that interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Unauthorized access or attacks on the system
  • Activities that cause inconvenience to other Users
  • Excessive use for commercial purposes
  • Input or transmission of false information

5. Content License

5.1 License Grant

Regarding the content such as images provided through the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Content"), snappi grants Users a non-exclusive right to use under the following conditions.

5.2 Permitted Use

  • Use for personal and commercial purposes
  • Use as AI training data
  • Use after editing and modification
  • Commercial use of modified content
  • Use on websites, blogs, and social media
  • Use as advertising and marketing materials
  • Use in print and digital media

    • 5.3 Prohibited Use

    • Resale of content individually or as a collection
    • Redistribution or sublicensing of content
    • Use for illegal, harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory purposes
    • Use for purposes against public order and morals
    • Use for purposes that infringe on the rights of third parties

    5.4 Rights Attribution and License Termination

    The rights to the Content belong to snappi or the legitimate rights holders. This license does not transfer ownership of the Content.

    snappi may terminate the license without prior notice and request cessation or deletion of use in cases of rights infringement claims from third parties, inappropriate use, violation of terms of service, or other cases deemed necessary. In such cases, Users are obligated to promptly cease use of the relevant Content and delete it as necessary.

    6. User-Generated Content (UGC)

    6.1 Posting Responsibility

    Regarding photos, videos, and other content posted by Users to the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Posted Content"), Users warrant and bear full responsibility for the following:

    • That the User holds the copyright and other intellectual property rights to the Posted Content, or has lawful authority to use it
    • That the Posted Content does not infringe on the rights of third parties (copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, etc.)
    • That the Posted Content does not contain illegal or content contrary to public order and morals

    6.2 Operator Disclaimer

    The operator is not obligated to pre-screen Posted Content and does not guarantee its legality, accuracy, or usefulness. The operator bears no responsibility for any damages caused to Users or third parties arising from Posted Content.

    6.3 Deletion and Restriction Measures

    The operator may, without prior notice, delete, make private, or take other measures regarding Posted Content in the following cases:

    • When a claim of copyright infringement or other rights infringement is made by a rights holder or other third party
    • When the Posted Content is deemed to violate the prohibited activities in these Terms
    • When there is a deletion request based on law
    • Other cases deemed inappropriate by the operator

    The operator is not obligated to provide prior notice or subsequent explanation to Users regarding these measures. However, the operator may contact the poster as necessary.

    6.4 Copyright Infringement Reporting

    If you discover Posted Content that infringes on copyright or other rights, please report it according to our Takedown Policy. The operator will take appropriate action.

    7. Service Changes and Suspension

    The operator may change the content of the Service or temporarily or permanently suspend the Service without prior notice. The operator bears no responsibility for any damages caused to Users as a result.

    8. Disclaimer

    The Service is provided "as is." The operator does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or safety of the Service. The operator bears no responsibility for any damages arising from the use of the Service.

    9. Changes to Terms of Service

    The operator may change these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms shall become effective upon being posted on the Service. By continuing to use the Service after the change, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
